Cycle View

I rarely photograph landscapes, so this shot is lacking in a number of areas, but it was a beautiful view which I had to capture while out on an afternoon bike ride. I've cropped the foreground due to a lack of lead-in-lines, making it more of a skyscape with a cottage focal point...

Mary Poppins

With a mother named Julie Andrews and the weather looking decidedly patchy, I decided to try a new technique and create this Mary poppins image. I would have loved more indoor space to try a variety of ideas, but the back garden served me well for this initial shot. It's certainly a technique which I'll be using again in my portrait work.
